I always thought zombies were green... but when I tried making the ones in this comic green, they just looked like goblins. Turns out zombies are more bluish... jeez, I feel like Gabe now... talking about this drawing stuff. But I can't talk about the story cuz I didn't write it. WHOO! READ RACCOON QUDDIES EVERYBODY!

For those unfamiliar with HvZ it is a large-scale game of tag, usually seen on college campuses. I will provide a brief summary of the game's operations here:

1. Most participating players start as human. A small handful (depending on population size) starts out as zombies.
2. Zombies wear a distinctly colored band around their head and humans wear one on their arm in order to avoid awkwardly tagging unsuspecting bystanders.
3. Zombies want to tag humans. If a human is tagged, they become a zombie. Humans want to survive as long as possible
4. Humans can defend themselves with socks and Nerf blasters. If they hit a zombie, the zombie is "stunned" for a period of time and can walk around but not tag anyone.

The specifics vary depending on the moderators, the location, and time frame.

HvZ is entertaining for both the players themselves and the non-players who get to watch the epically goofy battles occur. And you get to run around in public carrying a Nerf gun without being seen as (too) crazy!
