Happy March! Today Siv's written up a really great one for you all... I only laughed a couple times at Conker's Bad Fur Day, but I laughed at this. On the art side of things, this is the first comic to utilize a predrawn background layer (with a lower contrast)... but you don't care about that! The last panel, by the way is a reference to Dore's "Depiction of Satan" which wasn't in the script, so for once I get the credit for adding the smart stuff! Sure I do references all the time, but this one is classical! And that's just the kind of guy I am: a CLASSIC. CHARACTER.

I'm reading John Milton's "Paradise Lost" in my English class right now. Books are on my brain, filling my every waking and sleeping hour (I spend my non-waking and non-sleeping hours outside of existence thinking about metaphysics [that was a joke]).

But Satan. What to do with him? He gives a tragic, compelling story of his fall from grace, cast out by his creator, disowned from his birthright. He desires power, but not for its own sake; what he truly desires is to be free, to have agency in a fated, predestined world. Isn't that what every rebellious teenager wants?

Anyways. Have some intertextual puns. And simultaneous dual meta references.

I care about the creation process :D

Satan looks great in that last panel. Quite a funny strip.

The background looks great for this one, it adds some depth and establishes setting/atmosphere. Good work Gib!
