Hmm... changing one-color backgrounds... It's kinda like Garfield, isn't it? But I don't like drawing real backgrounds, so there you have it.

I have extreme guilt whenever I purchase anything. Even before the money has left my hand, I think of all the other possible ways I could have spent that money, on other potentially higher utility purchases. Or the moral causes I could have supported with a donation. I am compelled to research every aspect of the product, its competitors and alternatives, its uses and benefits.

Because really, we don't buy things. We buy stories. When you walk into a store and buy some fancy pants, the labor cost and materials are insignificant to its value. What gives it value is its branding, the story those pants are trying to tell, the image the company wants to sell you. That is what you are purchasing. And I’m still not sure what I think about that.
